plenty of dishes for me. But I love my cups so it's OK.
Tomorrow my friend will be here! Yeay! I'm trying to complete the school work for this week today.
Plus I've just made a delicious loaf of banana bread.
I love baking, I wish I could bake every day.

Nice shoes baby.Another study day. My afternoon was ruined yesterday due to my body...Luckily I had been very productive in the morning. But I still wanted to get more work done. My school week is shorter this week because MY BEST MATE is coming to visit me for a long weekend on Thursday. I can't wait! :) *happy*

Ginko. The most beautiful leaf. Reminds me of my childhood and Japan. And my parents books. Sometimes you would find an old dried beautiful ginko leaf hidden between the pages.
Summer was here over the weekend. Shorts and thin tops. Sunglasses and open windows, drinks in the garden.
It's gone now, back to grey and cold, quilts and heating on, slippers, hot drinks. Come back, summer.
I'm looking for ONE more cushion for our sofa. Only because I threw one away recently.
I like these ones from John Lewis (again! they have everything). But the rose one is too girly for a house with a man and a woman living in it. :P It would look perfect in my teenage girl room though, which is all red, black and white pretty much. I like it because it reminds me of Alice In Wonderland and when they sing "we're painting the roses red".
I used to hate blue. It was the colour I liked the least. But now I like some shades of it at least. Turquoise shoes, dark jeans, thin blue-grey denim dress, petroleum blue nail polish. Plus some top you can't see in the photo and my lovely brown leather jacket. The shopping bags contain coffee cups from John Lewis (one of my new favourite shops) in two different shades of grey that match our newly decorated kitchen. The other bag just contains groceries.

This is the view from our guest room/music room/office. Multi-tasking room.
I've not been using the pc much at all this week! First it was Easter and we made that into a long weekend with a lot of us-time and a lot of DIY. The kitchen looks better now with the new floor but we still have some more work to do. Skirting boards, feature wall, cabinet for all my pretty kitchen things... :)
Then on Wednesday when the long weekend was over, we went on a road trip to the bottom of the country (5-6 hours in the car...) to one of my man's offices. I was allowed with him this time. I helped a bit: installing PCs, unpacking things. Then we had buffalo mozarella pizza in the hotel, slept, got up, breakfast buffet, work, car for 6-7 hours...home. Now it's Friday already!
Gorgeous small espresso cups from sur la table. I love them. I am addicted to collecting pretty cups. Enormous ones and tiny espresso ones.
It's snowing NOW already!

It's like a Friday today! We have a lovely long weekend ahead of us! 5 whole days!
Today the sun is shining and it looks like spring but do not be fooled - it is freezing and it will snow tonight!
