Nice shoes baby. Another study day. My afternoon was ruined yesterday due to my body...Luckily I had been very productive in the morning. But I still wanted to get more work done. My school week is shorter this week because MY BEST MATE is coming to visit me for a long weekend on Thursday. I can't wait! :) *happy*
I'm teaching myself to drink warm coffee. I've always preferred coffee ice cold and found it quite difficult to drink it warm or hot. So now I make them semi warm. Fill the cup with halfway with hot coffee, then I add cold soy milk and cream. It's quite nice like this. As long as it comes in a nice looking cup. I'm not ready for hot coffee yet though, just warm. One step at a time.
Ginko. The most beautiful leaf. Reminds me of my childhood and Japan. And my parents books. Sometimes you would find an old dried beautiful ginko leaf hidden between the pages. Summer was here over the weekend. Shorts and thin tops. Sunglasses and open windows, drinks in the garden. It's gone now, back to grey and cold, quilts and heating on, slippers, hot drinks. Come back, summer.
I'm looking for ONE more cushion for our sofa. Only because I threw one away recently. I like these ones from John Lewis (again! they have everything). But the rose one is too girly for a house with a man and a woman living in it. :P It would look perfect in my teenage girl room though, which is all red, black and white pretty much. I like it because it reminds me of Alice In Wonderland and when they sing "we're painting the roses red".
I just found this quote and it's perfect for me. I read loads of books and one of the best feelings in the world is to finish a book. And I love napping. Most days I don't function without it.:)
1, mmm cookies. 2, wonderful looking bedroom. It's like a Friday today! We have a lovely long weekend ahead of us! 5 whole days! Today the sun is shining and it looks like spring but do not be fooled - it is freezing and it will snow tonight! What's up with the world! It's April! Now I'm going to catch up on some blogreading, then have some more coffee and work on some projects of mine.
