When it come to the kitchen, the colours mint and baby pink are my favorites. Red and orange is cool too but lets focus on mint and pink this time. :) I'm a complete kitchen equipment nerd... I love smeg, kitchen aid, dualit, pantone and all things cute and stylish and retro. Oh and plastic. Lots of plastic. RICE has the best plastic (well melamime) things.
I've never really paid any attention to miss Alexa Chung. Well I've noticed that she's in magazines and that she is awfully skinny... Her legs are seriously scary. But she is on the cover of lates UK Vogue and I just read the article that she has written in that issue. I really enjoyed it. Girl can write. And her face is very beautiful. She just needs a little amount of meat on her bones. Do you like her?

My man is coming home early so I don't need to let strangers in when I'm on my own. I think I'm going to spend quite some time in the kitchen cooking later. I'm in a cooking mood and am trying something new tonight. I'm in a hungry mood too, no matter how many sandwiches I put in my belly I still want more :) Maybe it's not really helping that I'm working with cookbooks today?
Simple comfy top and kick ass shoes. I'm even more exhausted than normal today. Somethings wrong with me but no one knows what... Anyhoooo, we're going out again tonight to that taco place. I don't know if we're doing margaritas tonight though! I need a coffee! I'm having coca cola with my meal tonight. Yum! I can't wait.
This kind of stuff. Mmm... Hope you had a nice weekend. Mine was fun! Party until late on Friday (we rarely stay up _that_ late so it was a bit different). The rest of the weekend must have been quite relaxing. Films and stuff. Lots of time on our sofa that will soon be thrown out or burnt down. We're getting a new one on Wednesday!

Penguin Bags. Perfect as book bags. I want the A Room Of One's Own one. That book means a lot to me. Penguin also make mugs, tea towels and notebooks (and pens I think) with prints of their classics. I got the A Room Of One's Own mug for Christmas.
An Education & A Singla Man. Two books turned to film that I would love to see, And read! I might get the books for my long trip to Sweden... You need good reading material...ALWAYS, I never leave the house without at least one book.
I've done some shopping. Three very basic long sleeved supersoft tops. Brown, brown and grey. One boyfriend cardigan, Navy blue. One even softer, thin washed black hoodie with button details, and some blue striped fabric here and there. SOO soft.
I need to find a watch to actually buy. These are to die for but a bit pricy. Anyone got any suggestions? I like plastic and simple designs, leather works too...
Monday again! The weekend was great though. A lot of US-time. Films, food, drinks, restaurant, DIY, cuddles... Lovely cheese night last night + white chocolate lemon mousse for dessert. SO DELICOUS,
The cookie recipes were requested! Here is on of them, for the double chocolate ones. 12 BIG cookies or 24 small ones Ingredients: 100 g chocolate 125 g unsalted butter 75 g brown sugar 50 g caster sugar 150 g plain flour 30 g cocoa 1 tsp bicarbonate soda 1/2 tsp salt 2 packets of chocolate chip (or 200 gr chocolate in pieces) 1 tsp vanilla 1 cold egg
Do this... Melt the chocolate (100 g) in a bowl over a pan of hot water. Mix butter and sugar and vanilla with a mixer/electric whisk/or by hand with a whisk. Add the melted chocolate and the egg. Add the dry ingredients and the chocolate chips/pieces. Put six dollops of dough on each oven tray and bake for about 18 minutes, 175 degrees celcius. Let cool on a rack. These cookies are freezable.
I made this little picture recipe for my little sister who LOVES chai latte! So she can try making it at home instead of paying loads of money in cafés. I've bought her this drink mix and apparently it really good. I did a Swedish and an English version just in case.
I'm in desperate need of some warmer long sleeved tops. Like these tops and cardigans above from TOPSHOP. I'm so cold and there's never enough long sleeved tops in my wardrobe... T-shirts with short sleeves - I have loads of them. But they're no good in the winter, unless you have enough cardigans to wear with them. I'll have a look this weekend for some new tops.

It feels like Monday somehow... my class got cancelled today so I have a bit more time for my own home studies and to bake COOKIES! :) I'm baking milk chocolate chip och chocolate milk chocolate chip cookies today. I'll get some pictures later. We're going to a friends new apartment tonight and we're taking some of the cookies and some wine.
I'm pampering myself for a little moment this aftern0on. I've just made and drunk mint hot chocolate with whipped cream. Yummy yummy yummy I've got love in my tummy... time for a hot shower and some nice body products now. I'm freezing!
Weekend was awesome and felt longer than usual which is always nice because that means more time with my man. More relaxing, more fun. School work today as always. My knee really hurts...I must have slept on it in some funny way but now I can barely walk... ouch. Coffee time now I think.
I really want to go to fancie again and have a lovely cupcake!

Topped with peaks of frosting and dusted with cocoa. -Praline (n)- Classic chocolate cupcake filled with caramel, topped with a chocolate hazelnut frosting and sprinkled with toasted chopped nuts.
Today is slow. I'm working on some projects for school...drinking coffee but now I fancie tea... I baked loads of cookies yesterday. Milk chocolate chip and Oat & raisin. We were supposed to give them to one of C's friends but it snowed and the world stopped. So we couldn't go. C took them to work today instead. There were so many! We still have some in the house though, you can't give away aaaall the yummy cookies without saving some for yourself. :)
