New reads for me.

I had to get some more books. I needed something different to the books that I am already reading. They are good but not right for right now. If you know what I mean. I got Alice In Wonderland and Dead until dark from the supermarket this morning. Normally Amazon is where I get my books from but I did not have the time to wait. I hope they're good!

Productive.

I had a very productive morning so I headed into town after lunch, surprised my boyfriend and met him on his lunch and also did some shopping. I got some things for the house and some stuff from boots and a lovely selection of chocolates from THORNTON's! A little Thursday night treat as a finish on a lovely day so far.
I'm still a bit ill but I can cope with it now. But I really needed to get out of the house today. I'm glad I did!

Me today... yes, I look ill... Coffee helped, but only for about 15 minutes. I'm pretty much spending the day on the sofa.

I'm ill...

I'm ill... I've slowly become ill during last week and yesterday it was really bad and today is quite horrible aswell. I must have watched about 5 or 6 episodes of What About Brian yesterday. I find it so hard to just rest... a good dvd box-set helps.I still have loads of episodes left so I should be able to get throgh the day... Time for tea and more painkillers now...

What do you do when you're ill? I'm not allowed to do anything today says my man... Definately not go outside. Annoying. Being ill sucks.

Friday night/

I've got one of these babies in my freezer! Pralines and cream. Looking forward to eating that on the sofa with my man tonight. Though it is normally just me who eats the ice cream, but hey that's OK, means more ice cream for me ;)

CHLOE.

I saw this film yesterday. Chloe with lovely Julianne Moore and Liam Neeson. Amanda Seyfried was great too! I've not seen any films with her in before because of Mama Mia... But she's shown she can act in this film.

Cakes and books about...cakes...

These are my two most recent baking books! Both are amazing and with gorgeous layout. There is one more baking book on the way to my house too... I'll show you when it arrives.
And these are the Fancie cupcakes that I bought as a treat when my mum was visiting last week. Yummy! Cappuccino and Butterscotch. Butterscotch was the best but they were both fantastic.

You are blowing my mind

Khaki green and brown... I need a parka this autumn to keep me warn. And jeans... loads of them. All my jeans are broken, except one pair.
Raining heavily today... but that's fine. I've got plenty of things to do in the house today and plenty of tea to drink. Cinema tonight!

blue/Monday

Blue today. Not my mood just the clothes I want. But it is quite grey and dull outside...
I've had a wonderful week with my mum visiting. We've done loads of fun and lovely things. Cooked, baked, watched films, shopped, visited small villages, walked, been to IKEA, had yummy treats such as chocolates, milkshakes and cupcakes... Oh I have some photos of those. Pictures will be uploaded soon!
Back to reality now though. Mum went back home yesterday and it's back to school for me.
We saw Shutter Island the other night and it was awesome! Thinking about seeing Inception on Wednesday, it's supposed to be really good too.

Yellow Mellow

The News:

• I'm an aunt! Proper aunt. I've been aunts to my half siblings' children since I was born but now my real big sister has had a little baby girl! I've not met the new life yet though.
• We're making progress with our decking in the garden. Looking good.
• Best news though - my mum is coming to visit today and is staying until Sunday!

Would be nice! Not today though. But I have had a treat - strawberries and cream. And tonight after a long day in front of the computer fighting with Adobe Flash, I'm heading into town for a little shopping and then to meet C and go to a nice italian restaurant and eat yummy massive pizzas.

I'd like to sit there... but I'm at our pc desk. At least I have a cup of hot chocolate in front of me.

HOT Chocolate

The rain is back and loads of it! It's been raining all night and all day after weeks and weeks of dry super hot days. It's cold too! I've been out to buy groceries and could not resist hot chocolate with whipped cream on a day like today. Just finished it but will most likely have another one in a bit! So delicious!

The rain is back... Nice break from the heat. Been to hospital today, studying now in the afternoon with a massive cup of ginger lemon tea + loads of cheese crackers with peanutbutter and cheddar. Yum.

Russian dolls, toasters and Yakult

I want to buy a toaster... can't really afford one of these though...Dualit is my favourite toaster design, definately. I've gotten addicted to Yakult by the way. Anybody else out there who likes it? I hadn't had it since I was a child in Japan and then I tried it again last week.Yum.
